Motorola G100 makes an appearance as the next Motorola Edge S. The Chinese manufacturer and subsidiary brand of Lenovo, Motorola is gradually unveiling the new features in its catalog of mobile phones for 2021 and after presenting in China its flagship, the Motorola Edge S, is already preparing the arrival of this phone to Europe under the name Motorola G100.

Motorola Edge S passes through Geekbench unveiling its non-Asia naming: Motorola G100

As we can read on GSMArena the well-known Twitter leaker, Abhishek Yadav has found out that the Motorola G100, which has recently gone through Geekbench, is the global version of the recently introduced Motorola Edge S, which managed to sell 10,000 units of its first batch in just 2 minutes.

This Motorola G100, codenamed “Nio”, achieved quite good results in Geekbench reaching the figure of 957 points in single-core tests and 2815 points in multi-core tests. These numbers are very similar to those achieved by other phones with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor in this same mobile device performance test.

Thus, thanks to its passage through Geekbench, we have also learned that this Motorola G100 will have an Adreno 650 GPU, 8GB RAM, and Android 11 as the operating system, running under its customization layer, MY UI.

Also, we must remember that a different point of this smartphone over the competition is that it will have a desktop mode similar to the Samsung Dex, through which we can connect the phone to an HDMI dock and turn it into a desktop computer.

Every day we have more data on this Motorola G100 but we still have to wait a little longer to know both its date of distribution worldwide and its price. If Motorola brings out this phone at a competitive price outside China, this device can be one of the best-selling smartphones this year.
