Samsung launched a new firmware update ((R830XXU1BTA1 and R820XXU1BTA1) for its recent smartwatch Galaxy Watch Active2, after the update users will be able to see WhatsApp images on their watches. This update will make Active2 the first Samsung smartwatch to have this feature.
Before this update, when users received a WhatsApp message with an image in it, the notification on Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 showed a camera icon to indicate that the image. Now they will be able to see a preview on the screen, without having to reach their phones.
It is expected that the future updates will include same feature for Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. The latest software also introduces minor software patches as well. Unfortunately, it is only downloadable for the devices in South Korea and Germany.
