Google Türkiye announced it will offer university students 12 months of free access to its Google Gemini Pro plan. The announcement was made in a company blog post titled “Yapay Zekâ ile Türkiye’nin Büyümesini Güçlendirmek” (Strengthening Turkey’s Growth with Artificial Intelligence).

The offer is available to university students in Turkey who are 18 years of age and older. The plan provides access to the company’s most advanced model, Gemini 2.5 Pro, with extended access included.

In the announcement, Google stated: “We are happy to announce that starting in the coming days, we will offer our Google Gemini Pro plan, including extended access to our most advanced model Gemini 2.5 Pro, free of charge to students aged 18 and over. This access, valid for one year, will enable young people in Turkey to learn to use the latest artificial intelligence tools, develop innovative projects, and increase their productivity in both their education and professional lives.”

The free subscription provides access to several tools and features. These include the Gemini 2.5 Pro model, Deep Research support, and the note-organization tool NotebookLM. The plan also incorporates visual and video creation tools, such as Veo 3, and provides subscribers with 2 TB of cloud storage.

Google Türkiye also noted the strategic context for the initiative, stating that equipping the younger generation with powerful AI tools is critical for both individual and corporate digital transformation.
