Exciting news! Microsoft has announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, the first Call of Duty game developed following its acquisition of Activision, will be added to Xbox Game Pass from day one!

Millions of gamers will be able to enjoy Black Ops 6’s brand-new and unique gameplay experience for free.

Megan Spurr, Xbox Game Pass lead, said: “We’re excited to confirm that Game Pass members can start Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on day one with Game Pass.”

The Xbox trailer also confirms that Black Ops 6 will be included in Game Pass for consoles and PCs.

This also puts to rest the recent debate over whether Call of Duty will be coming to Game Pass.

As you may recall, Microsoft was reportedly planning to add new Call of Duty games to Game Pass, but there were some concerns within the company. Turns out those concerns were unfounded.

An official release date for Black Ops 6 has yet to be announced. However, some sources say that the game will be set in the 90s during the Gulf War and that a release date of late October has been predicted.

Microsoft plans to share more information about Black Ops 6 in a special broadcast following the Xbox summer showcase on June 9. The showcase will also reveal release dates for upcoming Xbox games, including a new Doom game, Gears of War game, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, Avowed, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.
