Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses can now send Instagram stories directly to your account without needing your phone. The new feature is part of several updates from Meta, including support for Amazon Music and meditation app Calm.

Users can now ask the glasses to post to Instagram before and after taking photos. They can effortlessly share their moments by saying, “Hey Meta, share my last photo on Instagram” after taking a photo or “Send a photo to Instagram” before taking a new photo.

Meta has also collaborated with the meditation app Calm to integrate guided meditation and mindfulness exercises into the glasses. Calm offers Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses users a free three-month subscription, allowing them to experience these features on the go.

In a recent update, Meta brought multimodal AI capabilities to the Ray-Ban smart glasses. This enhancement allows users to take photos and get contextual information from Meta’s AI. The glasses can also read signs in different languages, create Instagram captions, and identify landmarks, further enhancing their functionality.

How much does Meta Ray-Ban cost?

The cost of Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses varies depending on your chosen model. They currently range in price from $299 to $379 USD.

Is the Ray-Ban Meta waterproof?

No, the Ray-Ban Meta is not waterproof. It is water-resistant with an IPX4 rating, meaning it can handle splashes and light rain, but it should not be submerged in water or exposed to heavy rain for extended periods.

If your Ray-Ban Meta gets wet, dry it thoroughly as soon as possible and clean any residue from the charging areas.

Can Rayban Meta translate?

Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses can translate text in real-time using their “Look and Translate” feature. This feature is powered by Meta AI and uses the camera to identify and translate text in different languages.

To use the translation feature, you can say, “Hey Meta, look and translate this” while looking at the text you want to be translated. The glasses will then display the translated text on the lenses.

Meta continues to innovate, integrating more features into Ray-Ban smart glasses to make everyday tasks more convenient and immersive.
