Many users fear the recently emerging Galaxy S21 green line issue, which is rumored to be especially common in Galaxy S21 Ultra and S21 FE models.

If you see a thin green line in the corner of your screen, this may also bother you.

Here’s all we know about the problem…

Samsung Galaxy S21 green line issue: What’s the cause?

Some users attribute the green line problem to software updates. Others think it’s caused by overuse, especially when playing games. But is the problem really caused by these reasons?

The problem could also be hardware-related. A faulty display connector or a dislodged cable can often cause it. If this is the case, you may be unable to fix the problem even if you update the firmware.

An X user shared a photo of the problem on his account. The post is as follows:

Samsung hasn’t officially acknowledged this issue yet, but it has offered solutions to users who have experienced similar problems in the past. Even Apple users know that Apple has set up a service program to help users when their devices have a problem, especially if it’s a widespread issue.

On the other hand, a user stated that the problem occurred after installing the April update on his Galaxy S21 Ultra (model number SMG998B).

If this is the case for you, we suggest you clearly understand the problem and contact Samsung support.

However, until a definitive solution is found, users should be wary of such issues. The problem may be unpredictable and may negatively affect the phone’s use. Therefore, Galaxy S21 users must follow this issue closely and take the necessary precautions. Solving such technical problems may take time and require patience. It is important for users to be conscious and proactive in this process.
