In contrast, Multiverse of Madness struggled to replicate the same triumph. Notably, the nature of the Doctor Strange sequel’s cameos greatly differed from those of No Way Home.
The superheroes in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had limited screen time due to the movie’s premise, as Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) traversed various dimensions. Conversely, in No Way Home, the multiverse merged with the MCU, presenting a more immersive experience.
Expectations suggest that Deadpool 3 will embark on a timeline-hopping adventure while retaining focus on a particular reality. The reference to Doctor Strange 2 is not coincidental, as Marvel is likely to explore the Earth-838 universe within the context of Deadpool 3.
This universe harbors mutants, Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the Illuminati. Additionally, a redeemable Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) is present, along with an unscathed Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) whose Ultron project proved successful.

Deadpool 3 plot leak hints at the return of Jennifer Garner’s Elektra
Considering all of this, it is worth mentioning a recent rumor prior to the Deadpool 3 plot leak that Ben Affleck’s Daredevil will make a cameo appearance in Deadpool 3. This speculation is reminiscent of leaks surrounding Doctor Strange 2, which hinted at Matt Murdock’s involvement.
However, it appears that another beloved character from Affleck’s Fox Marvel adventures may also grace the screen. Jennifer Garner’s Elektra, who first appeared in the 2003 Daredevil film and later starred in Elektra, might make a surprising comeback.
It has been approximately 20 years since those movies, and they have not remained at the forefront of viewers’ minds. Elektra, in particular, did not achieve commercial success, whereas Affleck’s Daredevil left a more lasting impression and garnered a better reception. Nonetheless, Fox never pursued further development of these storylines, ultimately granting Marvel the opportunity to explore the incredible Daredevil Netflix TV series, starring Charlie Cox.
That being said, Garner’s Elektra was a standout in those early movies.

Although Marvel has yet to confirm anything, The Hollywood Reporter, citing multiple sources, reveals that Garner is slated to reprise her superhero role. Intriguingly, the actress has previously collaborated with Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy and Ryan Reynolds on Netflix’s The Adam Project.
