Apple will allow you to configure the new Mac mini (2021) with up to 16GB RAM and 2TB SSD. Like the new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, this device will have MacOS Big Sur as the operating system and it will have the ability to run applications for iPhone and iPad.
The Mac mini will offer Thunderbolt 4, an HDMI 2.0 port, Ethernet, two USB-A ports and 3.5mm jack. We will have WiFi 6 and the security tools introduced with the M1 chipset.
Apple promises that the new Mac mini will be ready to handle two Pro Display XDR screens up to 6K resolution, compile code in Xcode up to three times faster and render Final Cut Pro up to six times.

The new Apple Mac mini has a $699 price tag, it’s about $100 cheaper than the current model. The new Mac with the Apple M1 will be available for pre-order today, but shipping will begin next week.
