What is the best Elden Ring progression route?

The best Elden Ring progression route involves following a specific level recommendation and weapon upgrade for each zone and location. We recommend beginning with West Limgrave at level 1-15 and weapon upgrade 0-1, followed by East Limgrave at level 10-20 and weapon upgrade 1-2.

The next recommended zone is Weeping Peninsula at level 20-30 and weapon upgrade 3-4, then Roundtable Hold and Stormveil Castle at level 30-40 and weapon upgrade 3-4.

For the South Liurnia of the Lakes, we recommend level 40-50 and weapon upgrade 3-4, while Raya Lucaria Academy, East Liurnia of the Lakes, and Ainsel River require level 50-60 and weapon upgrade 4-6.

West Liurnia of the Lakes is recommended for levels 60-70 and weapon upgrade 8-12, followed by Siofra River, South Caelid, Nokron Eternal City, Siofra Aqueduct, Carian Study Hall, and Deeproot Depths at level 60+ and weapon upgrade 8-12, 15-20, 15-20, 15-20, 15-20, and 15-20, respectively.
