Narwal unveiled a new lineup of smart vacuum cleaners at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), featuring AI capabilities to monitor pets, detect valuable objects like jewelry, and alert users to misplaced toys.
The flagship Flow 2 robot vacuum has a rounded design and easy-lift tanks to improve cleaning access. It incorporates two 1080p RGB cameras with a 136-degree field of view for area mapping and object recognition through AI models.
The Flow 2 identifies an unlimited number of objects. It processes matches locally first; if none are found, it sends data to the cloud. The device offers three specialized modes: pet care, baby care, and AI floor tag.
In pet care mode, users define zones where pets rest. The vacuum cleans these areas, monitors pets, and enables two-way audio communication. Baby care mode activates quiet operation near a crib and notifies users of misplaced toys. AI floor tag mode detects valuables such as jewelry, avoids them, and sends alerts.
The Flow 2 includes four cleaning modes that detect different dirt types. If an area remains dirty, the vacuum returns to its base to wash the mop and then re-mops the spot. Its design supports higher hot-water washing temperatures for enhanced cleaning.
Narwal also introduced the U50 handheld vacuum, weighing 1.41 kg (3.1 lbs). It features UV-C sterilization and heat treatment to remove allergens.
Additionally, the company demonstrated an unnamed cordless vacuum with a slim design, 360-degree swivel head, and up to 50 minutes of runtime. It pairs with an auto-empty station that holds dust for up to 60 days.
