Samsung has announced the Freestyle+ portable projector ahead of CES 2026. The upgraded model delivers 430 ISO lumens, twice the brightness of its predecessor.
The Freestyle+ introduces AI-powered screen optimization through AI OptiScreen. This includes 3-D auto keystone correction for distortion on uneven or non-flat surfaces, real-time focus adjustment when the projector moves, automatic screen fit for compatible accessories, and wall calibration to minimize visual distractions from the projection surface. It also supports Samsung’s Vision AI Companion.
Retaining core features from previous Freestyle models, the projector offers 180-degree rotation and 360-degree audio. A new addition is Q-Symphony compatibility, enabling integration with select Samsung soundbars.
Samsung has not disclosed full specifications or pricing details. The company plans to showcase the Freestyle+ at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, scheduled from January 6 to January 9.
No specific release date is set, but Samsung targets a launch in the first half of 2026 with phased availability worldwide.
Previous Freestyle projectors featured automatic screen adjustments like auto focus and auto leveling. The Freestyle+ advances these with AI enhancements for improved performance on varied surfaces.
