Apple has released a teaser on its Apple Fitness+ Instagram account, announcing that “something big” will arrive on the service in 2026.

The teaser appears as an Instagram Reel showing several people reading a newspaper titled Apple Fitness+ Times. The newspaper displays multiple headlines about upcoming developments:

  • “WHAT’S APPLE FITNESS+ PLANNING FOR THE NEW YEAR? Trainers spotted filming brand new content.”
  • “SOMETHING BIG IS COMING TO APPLE FITNESS+ Sources hint at major moves for 2026.”
  • “THE COUNTDOWN BEGINS. APPLE FITNESS+ 2026 IS ALMOST HERE.”
  • “EXCLUSIVE: 2026 PLANS STILL UNDER WRAPS – FOR NOW Experts predict January will be one to watch.”

Images in the newspaper include scenes from Apple Fitness+ training sessions. The Reel’s caption states, “Word on the street is that Apple Fitness+ has big plans for 2026… stay tuned!”

This post follows a Bloomberg report indicating that the future of Apple Fitness+ is under review. Apple continues to invest in the service, as evidenced by the teaser promoting new content.

The announcement comes weeks after Apple expanded Apple Fitness+ with AI-powered voice dubbing, enabling launches in 28 new markets. A launch in Japan is scheduled for early next year.

One headline references January as a month to watch, aligning the teased content with New Year activities. Separately, Apple plans to release an AI-powered health service in 2026, distinct from this Fitness+ teaser.

The Reel emphasizes excitement around 2026 plans without revealing specifics. Trainers have been spotted filming new content, per the headlines.
