A leak has revealed the core specifications of the Google Pixel 10a, set for an early 2026 launch. The device matches the Pixel 9a with a 6.3-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, 13 MP front camera, identical dual-camera rear setup, 5,100 mAh battery, and 23 W charging. It may also use the Tensor G4 SoC.

Rumors indicate the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will closely resemble the S25 lineup. Key additions include built-in magnets for MagSafe-style accessories, though Samsung plans a different branding, such as Pixel Snap for its Pixel 10 phones. The series will offer magnetic cases, require them for full Qi support, and feature an oddly-shaped battery. Samsung intends to reuse the S25 cameras across models, a move that could delay mass production for the S26 and S26+ due to cost-cutting.

The Xiaomi 17, unveiled in China in September, is expected to reach global markets in January. Separately, the vivo S50 and S50 Pro are scheduled for launch in China next week. The S50 will run on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, while the S50 Pro will use a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC.

Nothing has released the Phone (3a) Community Edition as a limited run of 1,000 units. Its hardware design draws from late-1990s and early-2000s aesthetics. The edition includes a dice-box accessory with numbers in Nothing’s Ndot 55 font, a custom clock face that reduces visual clutter and directs attention to essential elements, and an exclusive wallpaper linking the rear design to the front interface.

Ahead of their global debut, multiple Redmi Note 15 models have appeared in listings in Italy and Germany. The Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G starts at €289, equipped with a 6,500 mAh battery, 200 MP camera, 6.77-inch 120Hz OLED display, and Helio G200 chipset paired with 8 GB RAM.

The Redmi Note 15 is available for €6.99 with a carrier plan in Germany. It features a 6.77-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC, 108 MP camera, and 5,520 mAh battery.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro is listed at €399 without a contract. Specifications include a 6.83-inch OLED display, Dimensity 7400-Ultra SoC, 200 MP camera, and 6,580 mAh battery.

Launch timelines for Samsung’s Galaxy A07 5G, A37, and A57 have surfaced. The A37 and A57 will ship with Android 16.

Discussions have compared the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE to the S24 FE, evaluating improvements in the newer model. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra launch is anticipated sooner than expected.

This week 50 review, dated 14 December 2025 by Ivan, highlights these smartphone developments from leaks and announcements.
