Samsung confirmed the upcoming Exynos 2600 chipset with a recent video, indicating its probable inclusion in the Galaxy S26 series.
A YouTube video titled “The next Exynos” explicitly revealed the Exynos 2600 name, featuring Stranger Things-style music. This clip described the chipset as “refined at the core” and “optimized at every level.” The video’s description stated the new chip is “coming soon.” This constitutes a near-official confirmation of the Exynos 2600’s integration into the Galaxy S26 series, as Samsung typically announces flagship Exynos chipsets for imminent use.
The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Plus models are anticipated to feature either the Exynos 2600 or the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, contingent on the target region. The Galaxy S26 Ultra, conversely, is expected to globally feature the Snapdragon processor.
Historically, Exynos chipsets have demonstrated greater efficiency compared to Snapdragon SoCs. The Exynos 2600 is projected to incorporate the latest Arm CPU technology, an AMD GPU, and a 2nm manufacturing process.
