OnePlus is set to unveil a completely redesigned flagship, the OnePlus 15, according to a recent leak showcasing the device’s new aesthetic. The most notable change is the rear camera module, which departs from the circular design of previous models in favor of a square, black module with rounded corners. This module houses three cameras, arranged in a two-plus-one configuration.
The leaked image, originating from a Weibo post, reveals three potential color options for the OnePlus 15: Dune, Absolute Black, and Mist Purple. The Dune color is expected to be the “hero color” featured prominently in marketing materials. Absolute Black is described as the “blackest black paint on a smartphone,” while Mist Purple offers a softer, gradient option.
Beyond the design, rumors suggest the OnePlus 15 will feature a flat 6.78-inch 1.5K display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Performance is expected to be driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. After ending its partnership with Hasselblad, OnePlus will introduce its own in-house image engine.
The device is also rumored to boast a substantial 7,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The OnePlus 15 is expected to be unveiled in October, alongside the Ace 6. Notably, the company is skipping any model number containing the digit “4”, adhering to a traditional practice.
