HMD recently announced the release of a new smartphone, the Vibe 5G, along with two feature phones, the HMD 101 and HMD 102.
The HMD Vibe 5G features a 6.67-inch 720×1604 LCD touchscreen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Unisoc T760 SoC. It includes 4 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, a 50 MP rear camera, a 2 MP depth sensor, and an 8 MP front camera. The device is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery supporting 18 W wired charging and runs on Android 15, with a commitment to two years of quarterly security updates. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, dual-SIM capability, and a bundled charger. The Vibe 5G is available in black and purple on HMD’s website for INR 8,999, a discounted price from its listed MRP of INR 11,999.
The HMD 101 and HMD 102 are nearly identical feature phones, with the primary difference being the inclusion of a QVGA camera with flash on the 102 model. Both phones feature a 2-inch 240×320 display, a Unisoc 8910 FF-S processor, 16 MB of expandable internal storage, an FM radio, an MP3 player, cloud apps, Bluetooth, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB-C port, and an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance. They also come with a 1,000 mAh removable battery. The HMD 101 is available in dark blue, red, and blue for INR 1,899, while the HMD 102 is offered in dark blue, red, and purple for INR 2,199.
