The Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite 2 chipset, slated for release next month, has surfaced in a Geekbench listing, benchmarked on the upcoming RedMagic 11 Pro (nubia NX809J). The chipset features an eight-core CPU configuration, incorporating two prime cores clocked at 4.19GHz and six performance cores running at 3.63GHz. Notably, the prime cores appear to be underclocked compared to prior testing data that hit 4.74 GHz.
Despite the slightly reduced clock speeds, the RedMagic 11 Pro achieved scores of 3,309 in single-core and 10,742 in multi-core tests on Geekbench. These results represent a 5% and 9% performance increase over the previous generation, the RedMagic 10 Pro. The tested RedMagic 11 Pro device was equipped with 16GB of RAM.
The RedMagic 11 Series, including a standard model, is anticipated to maintain its signature built-in cooling fan. Furthermore, the series is expected to introduce full IP68 dust and water resistance, a potential first for gaming smartphones.
