Huawei has officially announced the Mate XTs Ultimate Design, offering a first look at its upcoming tri-fold smartphone. Richard Yu, Chairman of Huawei Consumer Business, shared a video on Weibo showcasing the device.

The video reveals a White color option for the Mate XTs, adding to the previously suggested Purple color scheme hinted at in promotional images. The footage highlights the phone’s camera module, shimmery golden edges, the “Ultimate Design” tag on the back, and the new White color.

Richard Yu is shown using the tri-fold with a stylus, indicating that the Huawei Mate XTs will support the M-Pencil. The video also demonstrates the device’s slim and lightweight design, with Yu easily sliding it into his coat pocket.

The Huawei Mate XTs maintains the inward + outward folding mechanism of its predecessor. The design includes a smooth edge for a comfortable grip. In addition to the White color, the Mate XTs may be available in Dark Black, Auspicious Red, and Crimson Purple.

The Huawei Mate XTs is scheduled to debut on September 4. The company is expected to release further information about the device in the coming days.
