Honor is expanding the availability of its YOYO real-time calling features to older flagship phones, including the Magic 5 and Magic 4 series. The update is being delivered via app version 90.10.16.037 and will be accessible to devices running MagicOS 8.0 and above.

The YOYO assistant’s real-time calling capabilities include screen sharing during calls, allowing users to share their phone screen with the other party. The process involves a few simple steps, enhancing communication and collaboration. A new “Change” button has been implemented in the main dialogue box, enabling users to easily switch between different guides within the YOYO assistant.

Furthermore, YOYO will now support anthropomorphic voice effects, which are described as human-like voices based on emotions and personality. This feature aims to improve interaction with the AI assistant by making it more relatable and engaging.

The screen sharing feature can be accessed by clicking the phone icon in the upper right corner of the YOYO main dialog or by clicking the “+” sign at the bottom and then the phone icon. Users can then tap the camera button and select “share screen” for real-time interaction.

Honor is implementing this update in phases, meaning it may take up to two weeks for all compatible devices to receive the new features. The rollout also includes improvements to image play and one-word code functionality.
