Honor is reportedly developing a new smartphone featuring a massive 10000mAh battery, according to recent leaks. The device, which is currently shrouded in mystery, is expected to launch in the first half of 2026.

The leak, originating from DigitalChatStation, reveals key specifications of the upcoming Honor phone. The device is rumored to be powered by a Dimensity 8500 chipset, suggesting a focus on performance and efficiency. The choice of chipset indicates that Honor is aiming for a balance between power and battery life.

In terms of display, the phone is expected to feature a 6.79+ inch LTPS (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) panel. This display technology is known for offering higher resolution, faster response times, and improved power efficiency compared to traditional LCD panels. LTPS displays utilize smaller transistors, enabling higher pixel densities for sharper and more detailed images while also contributing to battery conservation.

Beyond the core specifications, the tipster suggests that the phone will have a “good thickness” and a “pretty cool design,” although specific details remain undisclosed. The combination of a large battery and a powerful chipset is expected to deliver a significant boost to the overall performance of the device.

While the official name of the phone is still unknown, speculation suggests that it could be a new addition to either the Honor Power or X series. Both series are known for their mid-range battery performance, making them a logical home for a device with such a large battery capacity. Honor launched both the Power and X series this year.

Further details about the mystery phone are currently scarce. However, more information is expected to surface in the coming months as the launch date approaches.
