Honor is set to launch its Magic V Flip 2 foldable smartphone in August 2025, as revealed by prominent leaker DigitalChatStation. Codenamed “Celine,” the clamshell device features a substantial 5500mAh battery—upgraded from its predecessor’s 4800mAh—and supports 80W fast charging.
The phone will debut in four color options: Moon Shadow White, Titanium Sky Gray, Morning Purple, and Dream Weaver Blue. Design refinements include alterations to the camera lens size on the cover screen, with reports suggesting its rear camera aesthetic may resemble Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Flip series.
Significant imaging upgrades are expected, potentially involving new camera sensors to enhance photography capabilities. The device will likely be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Honor aims to position the Magic V Flip 2 as a formidable rival to Samsung’s foldables, emphasizing superior battery capacity and charging speed alongside design competitiveness. This release unfolds amid intensified market competition, following Samsung’s sleek Galaxy Z Flip updates and Huawei’s Pura X launch with a novel form factor.
