DJI’s Amflow electric mountain bike range is now available in the United States, launching on July 30, 2025. This follows the European debut of the Amflow range over a year ago, which introduced DJI’s Avinox drive system to the market. The Avinox system features a 1000W motor that delivers 120Nm of torque, noted for its performance within a compact and efficient design.

The Amflow PL e-bikes, designed to highlight the Avinox drive system, weigh 19.2kg. The Amflow PL Carbon model has a starting price of $7,499, while the Pro model is priced at $10,199. Potential buyers are encouraged to schedule a test ride before purchasing.

Since April 2025, at least six international brands have announced e-bikes utilizing the Avinox drive system. According to BikeEurope, the adoption of the Avinox drive system has expanded to a minimum of 16 brands.

According to Thomas Ricker, the Avinox drive system has sent “shockwaves through the industry and leaving stalwarts like Bosch and Specialized struggling to respond.”
