Motorola is reportedly preparing to launch a new entry-level smartphone, the Moto G06, adding to its expanding Moto G series. This development comes despite its presumed predecessor having been released only months ago.
A recent listing from a European retailer has provided initial pricing details for the device. The Moto G06 with 64GB of storage is expected to be priced at €122.90. For those seeking more storage, a 256GB variant will be available for €169.90. All storage configurations of the Moto G06 will include 4GB of RAM. The absence of a 128GB storage option in the current listing is noted, though it may be offered upon official release.
The Moto G06 is anticipated to be available in three distinct color options: Tapestry, Arabesque, and Tendril. These names suggest a continuation of Motorola’s collaboration with Pantone for color design.
As of now, specific technical specifications for the Moto G06 have not been disclosed. For context, the Moto G05 featured a 6.67-inch 720×1604 LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme SoC. It also included a 50 MP rear camera, an 8 MP selfie camera, and a 5,200 mAh battery supporting 18W wired charging. It is expected that the Moto G06 will offer improvements over these specifications.
