The Honor Magic V5, initially a China-exclusive foldable smartphone, is expanding its global availability with a notable European debut. Following its recent launch in Malaysia, the Magic V5 is set to arrive in Romania on August 12, marking its first official release in a European market.
Details regarding the memory configurations, color options, and pricing for the Romanian market remain undisclosed and are expected to be revealed at the August 12 launch event. Beyond Romania, Honor has also initiated pre-registration pages for the Magic V5 on its local websites in the UK and Germany, indicating future launches in these key European countries. However, specific launch dates for the UK and Germany have not yet been announced.
The Honor Magic V5 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and operates on Android 15-based Magic OS 9. It features a 5,820 mAh battery, with the Chinese variant offering a 6,100 mAh capacity. The device is available with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Its camera system includes a triple rear setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto unit. For selfies, two 20MP sensors are utilized. The smartphone boasts a 6.43-inch cover display and a larger 7.95-inch folding display.
