The camera setup features a triangular framework with three distinct lens rings positioned at each corner. The LED flash is situated between the primary and ultrawide-angle lenses. Prominently displayed below the LED flash is the XMAGE branding, consistent with Huawei’s established camera technology.
According to the leak, the primary and ultrawide-angle sensors on the Pura 80 are identical to those found on the Pura 70. However, the most significant change is observed in the third lens ring, positioned in the middle of the module. This ring is notably larger than the other two and houses two periscope lenses alongside a smaller sensor, which is likely a multispectral lens.
In terms of specifications, the leak suggests the vanilla Huawei Pura 80 will be equipped with a 1-inch 50MP primary camera. For ultrawide shots, it will feature a 40MP lens. The innovative aspect lies in the third ring, which is reported to contain a 50MP 1/1.3-inch dual focal length periscope lens and a 2MP multi-spectral lens.
