OpenAI has rolled out a new “library” feature to the ChatGPT website and app, making it easier for users to access and manage their AI-generated images in one place.
The new library feature brings all your AI-generated images together in a grid view, allowing users to view every image they’ve made right from the ChatGPT sidebar. This visual log of every image generated using the AI tool is available unless the user has cleared their history. Users can scroll through the images with their finger or cursor and select any one to access additional image tools such as edit, save, share, and more.
The library screen also includes a button to start generating new images with just one tap. When selected, ChatGPT loads the traditional prompt screen for the user to begin entering a new image description. This feature simplifies the process of creating new images and makes it easier for users to continue their creative work.
The new image library is available to everyone using ChatGPT, regardless of their subscription type, whether Free, Plus, or Pro. The update comes at no extra cost, and users can get started using it immediately. For mobile users, it is essential to have the latest version of the ChatGPT app to access this new feature.
To access the library, users can follow a few simple steps: open the ChatGPT app or website, look for the new Library section in the sidebar, and tap or select this section to bring up a grid view of all their AI-generated images. Selecting any image will display more tools such as Editing, Save, and Share. A button at the bottom or top corner of the library screen allows users to create a new image instantly, making it easy to jump into another creative session.
This new library feature is particularly helpful for users who frequently generate images with ChatGPT, as it allows them to keep track of all their creations in one dedicated space, making it much easier to find what they’re looking for later.
