Samsung is set to unveil its Galaxy S25 Edge next month, with leaks revealing its specifications, pricing, and design elements ahead of its anticipated launch.

Dimensions and weight details

According to a leak from tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 Edge will weigh 162 grams and measure 5.84mm thick, making it significantly slimmer than the standard S25’s thickness of 7.2mm, although its weight remains the same.

Pricing information

The S25 Edge’s pricing is expected to be “similar” to that of the S25 Plus, which starts at $999. While this does not guarantee an identical price tag, it provides a ballpark estimate for potential buyers.

Display and design features

The phone will reportedly feature ultra-slim bezels, reportedly as thin as those found on the S25 Ultra. It is rumored that the display will measure 6.65 inches, offering a significant viewing area.

Internal specifications

Internally, the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the same as its S25 counterparts. However, the camera setup on the S25 Edge will be more streamlined, featuring a dual rear camera configuration consisting of a 200MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultrawide sensor, with no telephoto lens included.

Battery and charging capabilities

The phone will be powered by a 3,900mAh battery and will support 25W wired charging. There are concerns regarding the smaller battery size and its potential impact on battery life, but Samsung may implement software optimizations to enhance efficiency.

Color options and availability

The Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to come in three color options: Light Blue, Black, and Silver. The official launch is expected in April, although some reports suggest it may not be available for purchase until May. Initial production is projected to be limited to 40,000 units.

Focus on camera technology

The S25 Edge’s dual rear cameras were showcased during the Galaxy Unpacked event and at MWC. Specific details about the camera sensors are not fully known, but Samsung is likely aiming to enhance AI-driven photography capabilities to compensate for the absence of a telephoto lens.
