Glocalme has unveiled the world’s first ‘smartphone for pets’ at MWC 2025. The device, called PetPhone, promises to transform pet care with its unique features.
While pet wearables are already in the market, PetPhone aims to offer genuine two-way communication between pets and their owners. According to Glocalme, the PetPhone can be programmed to recognize barks or other actions. If a pet seems agitated, the device alerts the owner and allows them to initiate a voice response to calm the pet remotely.
Beyond communication, PetPhone also includes health monitoring features and integrates GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth tracking technologies to help owners locate their pets.
While some may see it as overkill, Glocalme believes that the PetPhone’s combination of health monitoring, location tracking, and real-time interaction will be welcomed by dedicated pet owners.
In addition to PetPhone, Glocalme also introduced other “global localization” products at MWC, including a triple-SIM solution pairing an eSIM, an OTA SIM, and the company’s CloudSIM, as well as the CloudSIM kit, which is a USB-C device offering multi-network coverage for gadgets.
