The R6 new event, MUTE Protocol 2024, has brought a wave of excitement among Rainbow Six Siege players.

The event reintroduces the Arms Race game mode, a unique twist on the traditional team deathmatch format, and revamps the Tower Map with a retro-future aesthetic.

Running through July 31, this limited-time event not only brings back a beloved game mode but also updates the MUTE Protocol 2024 Collection with new and refreshed cosmetic bundles, providing players with fresh content and challenges.

MUTE Protocol 2024 brings back arms race

The MUTE Protocol 2024 event in R6 is a nostalgic return to a favorite among the Siege community. The Arms Race game mode is central to this event, offering a dynamic gameplay experience. All players start with the same weapon, and each elimination grants them a new weapon, escalating through tiers until they reach the golden hammer. The ultimate goal is to use this hammer to smash the brain case and secure victory for their team. This mode’s fast pace, enabled by respawning and power-ups, ensures that the intensity never drops.

The updated map, combined with the escalating weapon tiers, keeps players on their toes, making each match unpredictable and thrilling. This return to Arms Race is a nod to the past, allowing players to experience the adrenaline rush that made it a hit previously.
