As artificial intelligence technology makes our lives easier, the Apple OpenAI deal will help two giant companies increase their influence in the sector with an important partnership.

The details of the deal, which was previously brought to the agenda by Bloomberg, according to an exclusive report by The Information, these two companies aim to develop future technologies together by making a revolutionary agreement in the field of artificial intelligence.

Every detail you need to know about the Apple OpenAI deal

According to the news, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has finally realized this long-sought deal with Apple. If the deal is successful, OpenAI could be worth billions of dollars.

OpenAI’s market value had already increased considerably with Microsoft’s investment in the company. We are waiting to see how far such a deal will take.

On the other hand, the deal also caused some controversy for Apple. John Giannandrea, Apple’s head of machine learning, opposed the inclusion of chatbots based on the big language model in Apple products. At the same time, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella is said to be concerned about the impact of this deal on OpenAI’s existing relationship with Microsoft.

According to The Information, Giannandrea has previously told Apple employees that “the last thing humans need is another AI chatbot”. However, this does not mean that Apple has completely rejected AI. Apple can leverage OpenAI’s technology to improve existing products like Siri and to offer new AI solutions.

Apple is reportedly working on a version of Siri that extends its scope using OpenAI’s API and is also in talks with Google for a similar deal. This shows that Apple is evaluating different options in the field of artificial intelligence and aims to increase competition.

What does the future hold for OpenAI?

The agreement with Apple is considered an important victory for OpenAI CEO Sam Altman. If you remember, he had previously faced situations such as dismissal. Since his return to the company as CEO, things seem to be going well for OpenAI.

This collaboration between Apple and OpenAI is seen as an important step for the future of artificial intelligence technology. With the two giants joining forces, artificial intelligence is expected to be used in more areas and make our lives easier. However, it remains to be seen how this collaboration will affect the competitive environment and which new products will emerge.
