Tech giant Apple and artificial intelligence company OpenAI may come up with a big surprise at the WWDC developer event on June 10.

According to an exclusive report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the two companies will announce their cooperation in artificial intelligence to the world.

So what does this mean? What kind of cooperation will we encounter? Here’s all we know…

AI is coming to your iPhones with iOS 18

According to Mark Gurman, Apple plans to collaborate with OpenAI to integrate generative AI technology into iOS 18. This is an exciting development, as iPhone users can access more AI-powered apps and features.

Apple is in talks with Google to potentially bring the Gemini AI model to iPhones

Apple’s AI moves are not limited to this. The company is also in talks with Google about possibly bringing the Gemini AI model to the iPhone. However, it is stated that no official agreement has yet been reached.

AI-supported features in iOS 18

iOS 18 is expected to take the user experience to a new level with its artificial intelligence-supported features. The iMessage message summarization feature especially draws attention. With this feature, artificial intelligence will automatically summarize important information (companies, contacts, locations, etc.) in messages, saving users time. A similar feature will be available in the Safari browser. It will help users access information faster by summarizing web pages.

Apple’s ambitious steps in artificial intelligence have greatly impacted the technology world. iOS 18’s AI-supported features have the potential to make users’ daily lives easier and increase productivity. We can’t wait to hear what will be announced soon.
