Emerging reports suggest that HMD Global is preparing to relaunch the Nokia 3210 with a revamp. Nokia had a run in the market for a while, so to speak, with its 4-digit phone series.

The release of the new Nokia 3210 is good news for both nostalgia buffs and those looking for a practical phone. Although Nokia has recently been known for remaking old phones, it still has a place in the hearts of most users.

The Nokia 3210 is a legend before smartphones and even before modern phones. Let’s see if HMD, which releases different mindless phones with an understanding contrary to our era, can catch a break with the new version of the Nokia 3210.

Celebrating nostalgia: The return of the Nokia 3210

For those who were in the prime of their youth in 1999, the Nokia 3210 was a symbol of an era. Maybe you didn’t have one, but a friend or family member certainly did. It carved its name in gold letters on the dusty pages of history, but it may be forgotten now, it was a visual icon with its thick body and small monochrome screen. It turns out that Nokia, owned by HMD Global, is trying to revive this nostalgia and is preparing to re-release the old 3210 model. The new Nokia 3210, which is a hot topic on social media, is eagerly awaited.

According to information leaked by Gigantti from Finland, the rebirth of the Nokia 3210 is very close. According to the images obtained by Nokiamob, the device will be available in blue and yellow color options and is rumored to be released on May 8. A post HMD recently shared on X (formerly Twitter) also supports this information. Unfortunately, the list price remains unclear for now, but the phone is expected to retail for 89 Euros (around $95).

The phone’s features include a retro interface and modern amenities such as the famous snake game, a MicroSD card slot, Bluetooth, and 4G connectivity. Unlike the old 3210, this new version will also have a camera on the back and will come with a 1450 mAh battery that can be charged via USB-C.

Seven years ago, HMD relaunched the Nokia 3310, making it an ideal choice for those who want to avoid the distractions of smartphones. Since then, the brand has introduced many nostalgic models, including slim foldable phones like the 2660 Flip.

Nokia’s move shows that the “unintelligent phone” trend continues to be popular, with some companies even launching many similar products to appeal to consumers’ feelings of nostalgia. However, the re-release of the Nokia 3210 stands out as an exciting development, especially for technology and nostalgia enthusiasts. This revitalization is both a tribute to Nokia’s long history and a unique opportunity for those who want a device with practical features that adapt to today’s technology.
