While the US threat to completely ban TikTok across the country creates uncertainty for the platform’s future, the video platform called Rumble made an interesting offer to TikTok.

Rumble said it is ready to buy the application to help TikTok stay in the US market.

Rumble eyes TikTok because of US ban threat

Rumble’s CEO Chris Pavlovski’s offer to ByteDance aims to allay US concerns about TikTok and ensure that the platform continues to provide uninterrupted service to its millions of users. Moreover, it is reported that Rumble is not alone in this acquisition. The company is ready to form a consortium to bring together the resources necessary to acquire and operate TikTok. Known for its commitment to freedom of expression and open internet, Rumble’s offer is not a commercial venture.

Whether Rumble’s offer will be accepted and TikTok’s future remains uncertain for now. However, this progress shows that TikTok will continue to struggle to stay in the US market. In this process, purchase offers from different platforms may come to the agenda.

What is Rumble?

Rumble is a video platform founded by Chris Pavlovski in 2013. The platform stands out with its commitment to freedom of expression and an open internet, allowing users to share content censored on platforms like YouTube.

The video platform has accelerated its growth with recent investments. It recently went public with Rumble Cloud, which provides affordable business pricing.

This is a historic moment for Rumble and for the free flow of information. Most online information flow is controlled by an oligopoly which can turn the lights off at any moment, like they did to Parler.

Today, that ends with Rumble Cloud. https://t.co/WgdRo4XPbY

Rumble’s offer to acquire TikTok is part of the company’s growth plans. If the purchase offer is accepted, the video platform could become an important player in the US market.

How will TikTok respond to the offer? Here, we will see this in time.
