Microsoft’s new Windows 11 update has been released. The company has officially released the Moment 5 update for Windows 11 versions 23H2 and 22H2.
The new update brings new features and enhancements for several apps, including Windows Copilot, Voice Access, Clipchamp, and Photos. Here’s all you need to know.
Windows 11 update: How to get the Moment 5 update?
The Moment 5 update will be automatically downloaded and installed for Windows 11 users with the enabled “Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” option. To enable this option:
- Go to Settings > Windows Update.
- Click on “Advanced Options“.
- Under “How to get updates“, select “Get the latest updates as soon as they are available“.
- If you have enabled this option, you can click the “Check for updates” button to install the update manually.

New features added to Microsoft Copilot
Microsoft is offering add-ons that integrate third-party services to extend Copilot‘s capabilities.

“Generative Erase” has been added, allowing you to select and remove unwanted objects or imperfections from your images.
Clipchamp:
Added a new feature that eliminates silence gaps in your videos.
The new Clipchamp update is available today, while Generative Erase is coming soon and is already being tested in the Windows Insider program.

With improvements to the Narrator feature, you can preview sounds before downloading them and better recognize text in images. It provides an even better experience for visually impaired users.
