How do you get into the Capcom Cup?

Getting into the Capcom Cup is a challenging but achievable goal within the competitive Street Fighter scene.

Here are the primary Paths to the Capcom Cup:

  • Capcom Pro Tour (CPT):
    • Online tournaments: Compete in regional online tournaments throughout the year, earning points based on placement. Top players in each region qualify for Regional Finals
    • Regional finals: Winners of these Regional Finals secure coveted spots in the Capcom Cup
    • Offline tournaments: Placing well in major offline events (like EVO) also awards a Capcom Cup qualification spot
  • Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ):
    • Held just before the Capcom Cup, this open tournament is your final opportunity to qualify
    • The winner of the LCQ earns the last available spot in the Capcom Cup

Capcom Cup X leaves us eager for more! As the Street Fighter scene continues to evolve, we anticipate future tournaments filled with even more clutch moments, inspiring rivalries, and the potential for new champions to rise.
