CoD MW3 Beta dates

The first CoD MW 3 Beta weekend took place from October 6 to 10, and it was limited to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 users. Unfortunately, Xbox and PC gamers will have to wait a few weeks for their turn.

You’re in luck if you pre-ordered the game on the PS4 or PS5. The action began at 10 a.m. PT on Friday, October 6. This special early access period was your opportunity to get a jump start. On October 8 at 10 a.m. PT, all PlayStation gamers could enter. It’s your chance to participate, regardless of pre-order status. The first beta weekend concluded at 10 a.m. PT on Tuesday, October 10.

It’s simple to get in on the action: simply go to the PlayStation Store and download the CoD MW3 Beta. If you pre-ordered from an outside shop, keep a watch out for those early access codes in your email.

CoD MW3 Beta Game Modes Weekend One

The first early access weekend includes four fun game types, with a fifth joining the party once the open beta opens. Let’s take a closer look at what’s in store.

  1. Team Deathmatch: Team up to eliminate enemy players and reach the score limit.
  2. Domination: Capture and hold up to three flags to earn points for your team.
  3. Hardpoint: Secure the Hardpoint, a shifting zone, to score points for your team.
  4. Kill Confirmed (Open Beta): A unique twist on Team Deathmatch, where you collect enemy Dog Tags to score for your team. Collect your teammate’s tags to deny the enemy points.
  5. Ground War: Expect large-scale conflict with vehicles. Capture objectives to score, and capturing these points creates new spawning locations for your team. It’s similar to Domination but with more objectives to conquer.

Weekend One Maps

Activision has handpicked an exciting lineup of maps for the beta’s opening weekend, with a fifth map being added during the open beta.

  1. Favela: Explore the vibrant streets of Rio de Janeiro, offering various strategies for engaging with enemy operators, whether from a distance or up close.
  2. Estate: Engage in outdoor combat within the confines of a lodge or stealthily navigate the woods for ambush opportunities.
  3. Skidrow: Dive into the gritty streets of Skidrow, where tactical moves in narrow corners are essential to outsmart your opponents.
  4. Rust (Open Beta): This iconic map debuts when the open beta begins. Choose between vying for the prime tower spot or utilizing the map’s obstacles for cunning ground tactics.
  5. Ground War Map – Popov Power: The Popov Power Plant presents a thrilling battlefield with snipers, armored vehicles, and diverse combat scenarios. It’s a testing ground that will push your skills to the limit.

CoD MW3 Beta progression explained

Players can attain a maximum level of 20 during the CoD MW 3 Beta’s first weekend. As you move through the player levels, you’ll have access to a variety of equipment options, beginning with Custom Loadouts at Level 4. At Level 4, for example, you’ll acquire access to the PILA launcher, a portable infrared SAM launcher. Level 9 introduces the traditional remote turret for remote-controlled mayhem.

You’ll also get access to other perks, such as the ‘Mission Control Comlink’ at Level 11, which lowers the cost of your scorestreaks. By Level 20, you’ll have the ‘Gunner Vest’ perk, which gives you more ammo and faster reload speeds, and if you wear the ‘Mag Holster,’ you’ll get the ‘Mission Comlink’ perk. It’s a progression system that rewards hard work and talent, so aim for the beta level cap to get the most out of your playtesting experience.
