WhatsApp screen share is a feature that allows you to share your screen with other people during a WhatsApp video call.

This can be a great way to collaborate on projects, provide technical support, or just show someone something on your screen.

According to the WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is rolling out a new update for its native Windows app through the official beta channel on the Microsoft Store. The update brings the app’s version number to 2.2322.1.0.

Beta testers who install the latest update may be able to experiment with a new feature when placing video calls: a screen-sharing option. This feature was previously released to a small group of users after installing the WhatsApp beta for the Android 2.23.11.19 update.

How to use WhatsApp screen share

To use WhatsApp screen share, you will need to have the latest version of the app installed which you may download using the link here.

Once you have the latest version, follow these steps:

  1. Start a video call with the person you want to share your screen with
  2. Tap on the More button (three dots) in the bottom right corner of the screen
  3. Tap on Screen share
  4. Tap on Start now to start sharing your screen

You can choose to share your entire screen or just a specific window. You can also choose to share your screen with audio or without audio.

Once you have started sharing your screen, the other person will be able to see everything that is on your screen. They will also be able to hear your audio if you have chosen to share it.

To stop sharing your screen, tap on the Stop sharing button in the top right corner of the screen.

  • It allows users to share their entire screen or a specific window
  • Users can choose to share their screen with audio or without audio
  • The other participant in the video call must also have the latest version of WhatsApp installed

It is only available for beta testers

The Whatsapp screen share feature is currently only available to beta testers. This means that you will need to join the WhatsApp beta program in order to use the feature.

To join the WhatsApp beta program, you will need to go to the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store and search for “WhatsApp beta”.

Once you have found the app, tap on the “Join” button.

Once you have joined the beta program, you will receive the latest beta version of WhatsApp as soon as it is released. The WhatsApp screen share feature will be included in the beta version.

It is important to note that the WhatsApp screen share feature is still under development, so there may be some bugs or issues. If you experience any problems with the feature, you can report them to WhatsApp by going to the “Help” section of the app.
