Every player in Madden 24 who has received a rating of 99 or above overall is a member of the 99 Club. Recently, the first player to join the Madden 24 99 club has been announced, and you will find every detail about it in this article!
One of the most thrilling aspects of the buildup to a new Madden game every year is the 99 Club reveal. This year’s Madden Ratings Week began on Monday, July 17, with the first 99 Club revelation. Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings is the first athlete inducted into the 99 Club this year.
Jefferson has established himself as not only one of the top five receivers in the league after being selected in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, but also maybe the finest in the sport. Although it is unknown how many other WRs will be in the 99 Club, it is safe to assume that Jefferson will be the top player when the game launches.
If a player doesn’t reach that rating, are they underrated? This topic alone can generate a lot of arguments. Any guys who weren’t supposed to get it? Who exactly received the honor this year?
Just four players—Trent Williams of the 49ers, Davante Adams of the Raiders, Myles Garrett of the Browns, and Aaron Donald of the Rams—received the coveted EA Sports rating in the previous Madden game. This season, will more players earn a 99?
Madden 24 99 club: Only one player has been announced so far
According to the Monday episode of ESPN’s “Get Up!”, Vikings receiver Justin Jefferson is the first player to be welcomed to the Madden 24 99 club. With 128 receptions, 1,809 receiving yards, and eight receiving touchdowns in 2022, Jefferson led the NFL.

Since joining the NFL in 2020, Jefferson has been probably the best receiver in the game. In 2023, he enjoyed one of his best statistical seasons, setting career highs with 128 receptions and 1,809 receiving yards, both of which were league-leading totals.
He also had 80 receptions for first downs and 28 receptions of 20 yards or more, both NFL records. Welcome to the Madden 24 99 club, Jefferson!
Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, is the guy most likely to join Jefferson in the 99 club. Mahomes had a 95 rating last year but improved in numerous crucial statistical categories during his Super Bowl run.
Who else will be given the number 99? The following dates will see the release of positional ratings from EA Sports:
Date | Position group |
Monday, July 17 | Wide receivers |
Tuesday, July 18 | EDGE |
Wednesday, July 19 | Running backs |
Thursday, July 20 | Cornerbacks |
Friday, July 21 | Quarterbacks |
