EA Sports FC 24 vs FIFA: The battle for football gaming supremacy has begun! Electronic Arts have finally released a slew of fresh facts and features for EA Sports FC 24, and here are six ways EAFC is already vastly superior to FIFA 23 and every previous iteration.
EA Sports FC 24 is essentially FIFA in all but name, as it retains all of the previously cherished modes such as Ultimate Team, Pro Clubs, and Career Mode while carrying on the official leagues. It’s expensive, but you can pre-order it now and get the Ultimate Edition for free. There is some concern because of the name change, but EAFC is already looking a lot better.
Here is the official trailer for EA Sports FC 24:
EA Sports FC 24 VS FIFA: What are the differences?
The successor to the Fifa video games, EA Sports FC 24, was finally given its official debut to football lovers. But what are the differences between EA Sports FC 24 VS FIFA? Let’s see:
- Cross-play’s opening up.
- Women are going to have a more prominent role.
- Upgrades for Ultimate Team cards.
- Hypermotion V.
- Deals.
- Career mode.
Let’s take a closer look to learn differences: EA Sports FC 24 VS FIFA.
EA Sports FC 24 VS FIFA: Cross-play’s opening-up
Crossplay is finally available in EA Sports FC 24 Pro Clubs. Cross-platform multiplayer was included after the launch of FIFA 22 and was available from the start of FIFA 23. It is now supported in EAFC, although it is larger than ever before.
Pro Clubs is a fan-favorite option since it allows users to dominate the field with groups of pals dressed as bespoke players. Fans can construct a personalized club with custom footballers, making it a better online experience than Ultimate Team.
Pro Clubs has been considerably improved now that PlayStation pals may collaborate with Xbox and PC. Remember that crossplay only works between the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, with the PS4 and Xbox One remaining separate.
EA Sports FC 24 VS FIFA: Women are going to have a more prominent role
The majority of Ultimate Team remains the same, however, the addition of female footballers in the Transfer Market is a huge enhancement.
Women are not only introduced to the most popular mode, but EA Sports FC 24 also permits mixed-gender teams. This means that your Ultimate Team’s frontline might be led by cover star Erling Haaland and assisted by WSL Aston Villa legend Alisha Lehmann.
All of the women’s leagues are listed below:
- UEFA Women’s Champions League.
- Barclays Women’s Super League.
- National Women’s Soccer League.
- D1 Arkema.
- Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga.
- Liga F.
EA Sports FC 24 VS FIFA: Upgrades for Ultimate Team cards
While the addition of female footballers is the most visible difference between EA Sports FC 24 Ultimate Team and FIFA 23, another important change is the inclusion of card upgrades.
One of the most serious difficulties with FUT in the past has been card obsolescence. Because of Electronic Arts’ continual advertising, even something as uncommon as a purple Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi is nerfed by the unexpected inclusion of a red Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi.
However, for the first time, you will be able to evolve and upgrade your FUT players using Evolutions. Certain players will meet the Evolutions criteria, and you will be required to perform a series of missions to increase their talents, PlayStyles, and, most crucially, their rating.
As if all of that wasn’t enough, Evolutions will be exceedingly showy. Evolved player products will have new designs and animated backdrops, allowing you to show off your skills against players who have just splashed the dough in the transfer market.
EA Sports FC 24 VS FIFA: Hypermotion V
FIFA 22 introduced Hypermotion technology to the franchise, although Electronic Arts is already using it in EA Sports FC 24. Aside from the bad arithmetic, Hypermotion V is a vast improvement over the second iteration of FIFA 23. According to EA’s gameplay description, Hypermotion V employs ‘volumetric data from more than 180 professional men’s and women’s football matches to affect player motions in-game’.
This includes, in principle, 1,200 signature running styles, allowing players to feel more authentic than ever before. Hopefully, this is real, because the initial reveal trailer wasn’t very convincing, with Erling Haaland looking sillier than Conor McGregor and Vince McMahon combined.
EAFC is also introducing PlayStyles. Footballers should feel both unique and authentic, according to real-world player statistics from Opta, which means that someone like Liverpool’s Salah should not go down the wing the same way as Arsenal’s Saka.

EA Sports FC 24 VS FIFA: Deals
EA was eager to inform the public about all of the arrangements it had struck with other leagues after dropping the Fifa moniker. It pushed the point by bringing in stars such as Erling Haaland, Alex Scott, and Ronaldinho, as well as borrowing other big prizes to highlight the tie-ups.
We discovered that it has exclusive arrangements with the Premier League, UEFA, and Spain’s La Liga to feature in their competitions. According to Twitch streamer Erbz, seeing huge stars on stage isn’t inherently a bad thing, but a “regular consumer of the game” would be “more focused on the game itself.”
EA Sports FC 24 VS FIFA: Career mode
Career Mode is ideal for those who want to bypass the online world and spend ridiculous amounts of money on Ultimate Team. Career has been static for many years because it does not produce money like FUT. But, happily, some progress is being made.
You’ll be able to put on a footballer’s boots or a barking manager’s waistcoat once more. There are more intimate cutscenes, such as half-time team discussions, to motivate you when you’re losing and want to throw your controller out the window. As a manager, you will be able to recruit coaching staff, according to the Ultimate Edition benefits. This will allow you to transform your backroom workers from dross to covert genius minions.
Unfortunately, there is no online career mode, as FUTZONEFIFA revealed in June 2022. Still, tremendous progress has been made for the time being, and we hope to see online jobs in the future.
