With the end of its third season, Mandalorian season 4 excites fans as the series had absolutely widespread popularity all over the world. A small army of Mandalorians has led an all-out assault on Moff Gideon’s Imperial forces to retake their former home world as the third season of The Mandalorian wraps up. But now that the battle has ended, it’s time to consider Din Djarin and Grogu’s future to foresee what will come next on their adventure and when we could see them again.
In this article, we’ll explain everything we currently know about The Mandalorian season 4, even if Disney and Lucasfilm haven’t released many details about it.
Is there going to be a Mandalorian season 4?
The fourth season of The Mandalorian is already a definite, and the scripts have been prepared, according to the show’s creator Jon Favreau. Despite the fact that we are unsure of its premiere date or even when it will begin filming, we do know that it will seamlessly complement Dave Filoni’s Ahsoka series, which will be telling a different chapter of a greater overarching plot.
We might have to wait a while until the next season of Mando airs on Disney Plus because there was more than a year between season 2 and season 3. The possibility that we might have it in 2025 seems like a good guess.
What will Mandalorian season 4 be about
Though it is difficult to predict the theme of the forthcoming season without knowing when it will air or what will come before it, it is safe to assume that it will involve Thrawn given that he will play a significant role in the upcoming Ahsoka series. For the same reason, The Mandalorian season 4 might also feature Ezar Bridger, Garazeb “Zeb” Orrelios, and Sabine Wren, though we’re still a long way from knowing for sure.
The following Star Wars series to be released is Ahsoka. The television show will follow the former Jedi as she attempts to defeat Thrawn, one of the best villains in Star Wars. In August, Disney Plus will debut Ahsoka. Skeleton Crew, which is probably not going to be connected to the Mandalorian plot of the other recent Disney Plus series, will come after that one later in the year.
Before we move on to anticipated character returns, a heads-up that the remainder of this article contains spoilers. If you haven’t seen the season three conclusion yet, stop reading immediately, or do not blame us.
We anticipated more heartbreaking losses in the finale after Paz Vizsla’s passing in the penultimate episode, but all of our heroes made it out alive. Also, we expect to see more of Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan Kryze, Emily Swallow as The Armorer, and Simon Kassianides as Axe Woves now that Mandalore is under the power of the Mandalorians.
Giancarlo Esposito, who played Moff Gideon, is one character that (probably) won’t return because of the combined power of Din, Bo-Katan, and Grogu as well as a blazing ship.
Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee as Carson Teva are further characters who might make a comeback in season four. Nevertheless, as was already stated, nothing has been verified. If you want to learn more about the universe, make sure to check out: our guide to the warriors of Star Wars.
Finally, Mandalorian season 4 has quite a connection with the Dave Filoni film. The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka will all be brought together for a single, grand ending in the 2023 Star Wars film directed by Filoni, as it was revealed at the Star Wars Celebration in London. Nobody knows when it will occur, what it could look like, or how many seasons of each show will premiere between then and now.
