A variety of free gifts, challenges, unvaulted weaponry, and even a new cosmetic for Penny, a fan favorite, are all part of the Fortnite Spring Breakout, which is now live. Here is everything you need to know about Spring Breakout 2023, which features a daily dose of fresh Spring Breakout missions and six rewards that can be unlocked through play without using a single V-Buck.
With the new springtime event, Epic is following a recent pattern of rolling out event challenges on a daily basis. There will be a new Spring Breakout challenge added every morning at 6 AM PT/9 AM ET. Each morning, we’ll update this list to reflect that. You’ll even discover links to guides here for difficult quests so you can do them without difficulty. There will be a total of 14 missions, and they will end on April 11.

Visit 3 cherry blossoms tree displays
For spring, Battle Royale Island has been decorated everywhere. On the island outside of MEGA City, there are five Designated Places where you can see cherry blossom trees:
- Brutal Bastion
- Slappy Shores
- The Citadel
- Anvil Square
- Shattered Slabs
To complete this daily quest, you simply need to stop by three of these five cherry blossom exhibits.
Fortnite Spring Breakout rewards
You can earn XP towards your Chapter 4 Season 2 battle pass by finishing the majority of the Spring Breakout challenges. Four of the challenges, though, will reward you with new cosmetics. You will receive the following assortment of exciting new goodies on days 1, 7, 9, and 14 for completing the corresponding challenges. They consist of:
- Day 1 Quest’s Reward: Bloomback Sack back bling
- Day 7 Quest’s Reward: Shell Smash spray
- Day 9 Quest’s Reward: The Works loading screen
- Day 14 Quest’s Reward: A Spring Breakout banner icon
There are also other Spring Challenge Quests available, and completing them will give you two more trinkets that match the back bling above. You’ll receive the Nannerbloom Hammer pickaxe for completing 12 Spring Challenge Quests, and for completing 22 in total, you’ll also receive the Spring Flyer glider.
The new skins in the Item Store will undoubtedly be the highlight for many folks. One new skin, Penny, one of the beloved Save The World characters who has occasionally been sold outside of Fortnite’s forgotten mode, can be seen in the marketing image for Spring Breakout, though Epic hasn’t yet made all of those skins public.
For many players, a new Penny in a bunny costume will quickly become a must-have item. The skin will likely be available for purchase during Spring Breakout 2023, possibly along with other themed skins.
The Fortnite Spring Breakout adds additional fun and objectives to chase to the game. If you want to check out the whole content of the event, you can go to Epic’s announcement page and see all the new additions to the game.
