Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo is ready to play! After saying it would return in February, Capcom has finally published the demo for its remake of Resident Evil 4. The demo is appropriately titled “Chainsaw Demo” after the villain who attacks Leon with a chainsaw while wearing a burlap sack.

As expected, the Chainsaw Demo focuses on that notorious first meeting. The demo lasts for around an hour and covers the first part of the game until all the ganados in the village are dancing around with pitchforks, waiting to pounce on Leon.

Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo

Capcom has announced that the Resident Evil 4 remake “Chainsaw” demo is now playable on the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC through the Steam platform.

Here’s a rundown of the trial version straight from its online store pages:

“Survival is just the beginning.

Experience a taste of Resident Evil 4, a reimagining of the original game released in 2005.

This demo consists of a specially tuned version of the game’s opening sequence and can be played repeatedly without time restrictions.

With modernized gameplay, a reworked story, and vividly detailed graphics, you can relive the nightmare of survival horror.”

There’s no need to speed through the demo in preparation for Resident Evil 4’s (re)release on March 24 because it will be available indefinitely. This notable portion of the game can be played as often as you like, despite being a tiny fraction of the whole.

How to get Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo?

Resident Evil enthusiasts should clear 11-12 gigabytes of space on their hard drives before installing the demo. The following links will take you directly to the product page, which you may download after logging in with the proper account.
