Apple iPhone 15 is expected to be the company’s new model to compete against its competitors in the market. Every year, Apple comes up with an upgrade to its previous model to satisfy customer needs but according to some leaks, the phone might feature some unexpected design changes.

Every year, Apple introduces the newest models of its products at a conference. Even though the major concept of the iPhone has remained the same since its release, almost every year something new comes out of Apple’s pocket. This year, we might see something new to improve customer satisfaction.

What is on the way for Apple iPhone 15?

According to a leak on Twitter, the new iPhone 15 will feature the majority of its previous model’s design. However, there will be some changes that will affect its look in a different sense. One of the Apple leakers, ShrimpApplePro has shared some insights on Twitter about what awaits us. The leaker said, “All iPhone 15 series will have the same display sizes as iPhone 14 series.” to start his thread on the matter. ShrimpApplePro continued with the biggest change of the upcoming product and added: “Pro 15 will have thinner bezels with curve edges, display is still flat tho, only the bezels is curve.” and gave the information that could give us an opinion on the new phone. To sum up the first two leaks, Apple iPhone 15 will take the curve edge design which was lastly used on the iPhone 11 and the majority of the phone will still look like iPhone 14.

In the second tweet, ShrimpApplePro said: “Vanilla 15 will also have curve edges. With dynamic island.” This means that the new design will be used on both models for the new iPhones. Dynamic Island is not a new feature for iPhone 14 users. However, it was introduced only for the iPhone 14 Pro users but when the new models come out everybody will have a chance at it. Dynamic Island is one of Apple’s latest technologies which allows users to see various notifications and activities on their phones.

Shrimp’s next leak ended with a question mark as he said: “Same dynamic Island cutouts, same Ceramic Shield(it ain’t broke so why bother), source don’t see any difference in the camera hole so probably no upgrade(?)” so there is still a possibility of that not happening. It looks like the company is satisfied with these aspects of the design so they might not see a reason to change something that works almost perfectly fine for most.

Lastly, the leaker’s sources have also described that the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, also known as Ultra, is beautiful. However, there weren’t any photo leaks for us to look at.

When will the iPhone 15 be released?

Apple iPhone 15 is expected to be released in September. Even though Apple is yet to announce an official date for the event, it has always chosen Fall for the previous models in the past. Last year, the iPhone 14 was released in September so this year’s possibilities strongly advise us to aim for that month of 2023.

Should I upgrade my phone?

We still don’t know the specifications of the new Apple iPhone 15 so there is still time to have an answer to this question. More leaks will be available in the upcoming weeks and we will have more information about the new product. After seeing what we will be getting for the price, then you might consider whether you should or shouldn’t buy the new iPhone.

If you are into Apple’s world of news, here are some bits of advice for you:

  • Apple’s new smart home product HomePod 2 is available now
  • Comparison: Apple M2 Pro vs M2 Max
  • Big hike in Apple battery replacement prices
