There are many devices that we expect to be released in 2023, but the exact date of the Apple event has not been announced yet.

We anticipated an Apple event in October where new MacBooks and iPads would be unveiled, flooding the market with Apple products. The announcement was made through a press release rather than a live event, and Apple did introduce a new iPad Pro M2, a revamped iPad 2022, and an Apple TV 4K (2022). Additionally, the MacBooks were conspicuously absent from the image.

But now we might know roughly when to anticipate the newest Mac products, such as Apple laptops, desktops, and even a reported VR/AR headset.

Things we expect to see in the Apple event 2023

Apple regularly hosts product events in the spring, many of which take place around March. Apple announced the iPhone SE 2022, iPad Air 2022, Mac Studio, Apple Studio Display, and an M1 Ultra chip during an event on March 8, 2022, the previous year. For the March launch event, Apple has previously held events in March 2019, 2018, 2016, 2015, 2012, and 2011. Therefore, there is a ton of precedent.

However, there have also been occasions where April has been used in its place, most recently in 2021. We would anticipate an event to occur before April 1 nevertheless, given that current conjecture points to a March event.

Even though Apple has a ton of items in development that could launch this spring, there is currently no concrete evidence that the company will hold an event in March. Here is a closer look at some of the prospective goods that could be shown at an Apple event in March.

We are waiting for the MacBook Air M2 15-inch in the Apple event 2023

For some time now, there have been rumors regarding a 15-inch MacBook Air M2. Analyst Ross Young predicted the thin laptop’s debut for spring 2023 back in December 2022. According to Young, production would start in the first quarter of 2023. The biggest MacBook Air ever is anticipated to debut in spring 2023. Only analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who believes Apple is developing a new 15-inch MacBook for the second quarter of 2023 but doesn’t say whether it’s a MacBook Air, is less certain.

Although we wouldn’t anticipate a significant makeover of the current MacBook Air M2 2022, it doesn’t mean enhancements won’t be included. In addition to the visibly bigger display, recent rumors say that it might also come with the M2 Pro chipset, which may make its debut at this event. These new processors may use Apple’s 3nm manufacturing technology rather than the company’s existing 5nm process, although it is unlikely that the M2 Pro would use 3nm technology when it launches in March.

There are no price rumors currently circulating for the 15-inch MacBook Air M2. However, given that the MacBook Air 2022 is currently $1,199, you might see a price increase to $1,399 or $1,499.

MacBook Pro M2 Pro 14-inch and 16-inch could be presented in the Apple event 2023

We anticipated new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro M2 Pro versions in October, but as of right now, nothing has been confirmed. The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models that are currently powered by the M1 Pro and M1 Max would be replaced by these new variants.

While the M2 Pro processor that powers these two laptops has received the majority of attention—including a recent suspected appearance on a Steam hardware survey—it is the M2 Max chip that has allegedly been subjected to benchmark testing. Though it still lags below the M1 Ultra found in the Mac Studio desktop, the new M2 Max appears to outperform the M1 Max in terms of performance.

At this time, there isn’t a proposed price for the products, but we anticipate that they will cost at least as much as the present models.

Will Mac Mini M2 finally show up at the Apple event 2023?

Similar to the two MacBook Pros powered by M2 Pro, the Mac mini M2 isn’t anticipated to differ significantly from its predecessor. The one thing to watch out for is whether it offers an M2 Pro-powered option in addition to just an M2-powered device.

Other design reports state that the Mac mini M2 will have the magnetic charging connector found on the 24-inch iMac 2021, four Thunderbolt ports, two USB-A ports, Ethernet, and HDMI ports, according to leaker Jon Prosser. Based on the latest images, the design might be a touch slimmer, but we don’t anticipate any significant changes.

Although there are no price rumors as of yet, the current Mac mini suggests that the beginning price will be at least $699.

What about Mac Pro M2 in the Apple event 2023?

Since the leaks began, 2023 has been predicted as the release date for the Mac Pro M2. It was once rumored to have an M2 Ultra or M2 Extreme chipset as an option.

That’s because only the most extreme power users will likely require the Mac Pro M2. According to numerous sources, this super-efficient desktop will be capable of housing up to 256GB of RAM, and the test unit is supposed to include 192GB of RAM. For comparison, the typical laptop contains between 8GB and 16GB of RAM.

With the new Mac Pro, you might have to commit the RAM you want. The new Mac Pro does not support further RAM upgrades as its predecessors did. But this is yet to be confirmed at the Apple event 2023.

We hope that the long-awaited Apple VR/AR Headset shows up at the Apple event 2023

This reported March event may feature Apple’s debut into the mixed reality space. Even if there is still a chance that the speculated Apple VR/AR headset may debut in March, recent rumors indicate that it might not be available for purchase until Q2 or Q3 of 2023. Given that the headset was previously expected to debut in January 2023, back in August, we won’t be surprised if we had to wait past the spring for its release.

Apple VR/AR Headset will be the star of Apple event 2023

Apple VR/AR Headset won’t be a cheap headset. It is anticipated to cost between $2,000 and $3,000 at this time. Therefore, this headgear is not for individuals who are just starting to experiment with virtual reality headsets.

Although Apple event 2023 does not have an exact date, if we look at the products that Apple has released in the past and their dates, we are quite sure of our predictions. We hope Apple has taken extra care of the batteries of the mentioned devices because we have seen a Big hike in Apple battery replacement prices.
