Popular TikTok dances are like a shortcut to going viral on the popular app

If you enter practically any school, you’ll find that most students could not only describe the “Renegade” dance but also likely perform it admirably. Globally, TikTok members are being signed by management firms, and well-known musicians request TikTok choreographers to promote their songs on their accounts.

The most popular TikTok dances of 2023

The app’s emphasis on dance has made the majority of its dances so pervasive in contemporary youth culture. Below is a detailed guide to some of the most well-known TikTok dances to date.

TikTok is available for both Android and Apple devices.

The Box

The Box” by Roddy Ricch became a TikTok hit with the help of 15-year-old Charli D’Amelio, who is unquestionably the platform’s most dedicated star. The Box music plays in the background of the most popular TikTok dances.

Cannibal

It’s because of Illinois teenager Briana Hantsch, 14, that Kesha’s 2010 song “Cannibal” surely makes a comeback. In February, she recorded a video of herself dancing to the song in her bedroom for the TikTok 2022 dance. Cannibal should always be in your feed of the most popular TikTok dances.

Number One Baby

The dance moves quickly to “renegade” and the songs “Relationship” and “Young Thung” by the rappers Young Thug and Future. There are currently 27 million people dancing to specific songlines as a result of the song.

Savage

Early in the 2020s, Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage” was hidden on TikTok, and Keara Wilson (also known as @keke.janajah) choreographed or performed its dance challenge, making it one of the biggest to ever take over the platform.

Don’t Start Now

In the first half of February, TikTok users recognized the song “Don’t Start Now” by Dua Lipa. Hannah Kaye Balanay, a teen, posted a video of herself dancing to the song outside with the remark, “pls do my dance,” and more than 3.8 million people watched it.

Vibe (If I Back It Up)

Mikeila Jones, 22, created one of the now popular dances to Cookie Kawaii’s “Vibe” because she “simply wished to be pretty” and knew it would be a “disaster.”

After that, Jones added, “I got into the flow of the song because it’s really catchy and feels like it’s easy to dance to.

Say So

The most well-known song by Doja Cat right now is “Say So,” which is already trending on the charts. The song’s popularity further increased as it took off on TikTok with more than 16.8 million users trying out the dance.

Lax (Siren Beat)

We can’t make a list of the most popular TikTok dances without mentioning the Lax.

The “Lax (Siren Beat)” dance, which is rather simple, is set to a beat created by Jawsh 685. It has a few body rolls and unforced hand gestures. The song had a “embrace your culture” theme at one point, and individuals were encouraged to dance while wearing traditional attire.

I’m Moving Too Fast

In less than a week in March, a different challenge became viral. Since Deandre Lamar originally shared a video of himself dancing to the mix on Feb. 29, the “#2liveSoundsmix” challenge with choreography and audio made by Lamar has gained 5.7 million+ users, making it one of the most popular TikTok dances around the platform.

Tap In

One of the top TikTok 2020 songs was Saweetie’s “Tap In,” which was helped along by a choreographic dance challenge by user @yodamnmamma, according to Zoe Haylock of Vulture.

Go! Go! Go! Who’s Next?

Even if it deviates a little from the intricate dances that TikTok is designated for, the “Move forward! Next up:” dancing aids a similar energy level in 2022. You should choose music with a strong beat and lyrics that mostly consist of the word “go.” The dance should only consist of the phrase “Stanky leg” repeated several times.

Out West

One of the simplest TikTok dances was created right away by Nicole Bloomgarden, “literally the day it came out” but It’s one of the most popular TikTok dances around. In order to dance to Travis Scott’s song “Out West,” which features Young Thug, all you need to do is move your hips and extend your arms. The song was released in December 2019.

We hope you agree with our list of the most popular TikTok dances. You never know how famous a 30-second video can make you. Leaving the dance videos aside, perhaps the most holistic event in TikTok history occurred recently when a review video of a pizzeria in Las Vegas went viral.
