Like every year, you can expect a ton of new products from Apple in 2023, and we know that you can’t wait to see them all. A brand-new mixed-reality headset, new Apple silicon-powered Macs, and the next generation of iPhones are only some of the things we’re hoping for.
Apple’s 2022 releases have largely felt like stop-gap measures. The iPad Pro received a chipset upgrade, but otherwise, nothing new was added, like a Mini LED display on the 11-inch device, wireless charging capabilities, or an improved Pencil. The iPhone 14 shipped with the identical internals as the iPhone 13, and the AirPods Pro 2 enhanced music quality without bringing in any of the widely anticipated fitness features.
So, while we patiently wait for the official release of these products, we can only speculate. So, here’s a look at what Apple may have in store for us in 2023. Maybe the tech giant surprises us on the first day of the new year so remember to visit Apple Store on January 1.
Products we expect to see from Apple in 2023
Although it sometimes lags in meeting expectations, Apple has never let its users down with its products. We have been using Apple products in our pockets, at home, and even in our cars for years. The year 2022 was extremely productive for the tech giant, and we expect to see these new products from Apple in 2023:
- 15-Inch MacBook Air
- iPhone 15
- A new iPhone SE
- M2 Mac Mini
- Apple Mixed Reality Headset
- HomePod 2

15-Inch MacBook Air
We can safely assume that we’re pretty eager about a potential 15-inch model after everyone was blown away by the new MacBook Air Apple unveiled in 2022 and we expect a release from Apple in 2023. As of right now, this MacBook will be the biggest MacBook Air yet; according to certain rumors, it will be precisely 15.2 inches in size.
No significant modifications are anticipated in the design from the present model found on retail shelves. We’re hoping to see some classic MacBook Air designs, such as thin bezels, a small profile, and flat sides. Additionally, a 1080p camera, MagSafe charging, and an improved speaker system have been mentioned in speculations.

The chip that Apple intends to use is what we’re most eager to see. According to rumors, the 15-inch MacBook Air will include both the M2 and M2 Pro processors. Unfortunately, no information regarding the M2 Pro chip has surfaced, so we are essentially in the dark.
iPhone 15
Without the introduction of a new iPhone series, the year is never complete, and 2023 will be no exception. Let’s examine what to anticipate from the upcoming Apple iPhone generation.
We’re likely to see the same lineup as the iPhone 14 because Apple died out the iPhone small with the iPhone 14 series and replaced it with a significantly larger iPhone 14 Plus variant. After Apple unveiled the Apple Watch Ultra, however, there have been leaks of the iPhone 15 Ultra. Could the iPhone 15 Ultra simply be the iPhone 15 Pro Max with a different moniker, or could it be a brand-new device? To find out, we’ll have to wait a bit.

The USB-C port will take the place of the Lightning Port, which will be a noticeable shift. Additionally, there’s a remote possibility that Apple will include Dynamic Island in every model. The iPhone 15 Pro variants are also anticipated to come with a brand-new periscope camera lens that will allow for a greater zoom than ever before.
According to a preliminary estimate, the telephoto lens on current Pro models may zoom up to 3x, while the periscope lens may be able to zoom up to 10x.
A new iPhone SE
The current iPhone SE 3 has an LCD, a Home button, and large bezels. However, reports claim that with the iPhone SE 4, Apple may reverse all of that and introduce a new iPhone SE with slim bezels, no Home button, and an OLED display to bring it up to par with the flagship iPhones.
With a 6.1-inch display and softened edges, leaks clearly indicate that the iPhone SE 4 will resemble the iPhone XR. Although we’re not sure if Face ID will be included to reduce expenses, the phone may also have a notch. Who knows, maybe the updated iPhone SE 4 will be the low-cost phone you’ve been looking for.

M2 Mac Mini
For those of you who don’t know, Apple’s tiniest desktop computer is called the Mac Mini. A smaller body, the addition of connectors like USB-C and Ethernet, more color possibilities, the removal of its circular base, and possibly a replacement of the aluminum top are some of the anticipated design improvements for the upcoming Mac Mini. There is a lot to anticipate with this one from Apple in 2023, isn’t there?
The M2 Mac Mini will most likely use an M2 chip, but there has also been recent talk of an M2 Pro chip being used. We are eager to see how this all turns out.
Apple Mixed Reality Headset
The arrival of Apple’s version of virtual/mixed reality headsets is still pending, therefore speculation is rife. For years, people have been waiting for Apple to introduce a mixed-reality headset, and it appears that we probably see it from Apple in 2023.

We can’t make any predictions because it will be the first one there, but what we do know about Apple’s headset is that it probably won’t be cheap. We can anticipate a lot of cameras because it mixes AR and VR, and some rumors say it looks like a pair of ski goggles made of a variety of materials.
HomePod 2
We also expect to see HomePod 2 from Apple in 2023. Since the HomePod’s release more than two years ago, it’s about time for an upgrade. There isn’t much we can say about the design because there isn’t a standard template that is always used, but there are reports of an outstanding smart display that looks like a mix between an iPad and a speaker. While a HomePod with a display would undoubtedly be a pleasant addition, HomeKit updates and better audio hardware are also anticipated.
And that’s what we expect from Apple in 2023 for now. We wish Apple, which brings many innovations to our lives, another successful business year in 2023! While the technology giant is coming to the end of 2022, we all know that the products we mentioned have already started to be tested at Apple centers, although they faltered a little with a huge tax problem in Japan.
