According to reports, Billie Eilish AI-generated images were the focus of “deepfake pornography” on TikTok in a video that received millions of views.
On its For You page, the social network’s primary feed, users came upon a video with the 20-year-visage old’s placed on sexually exaggerated bodies. Before TikTok banned the clip for breaking the community guidelines on sexual harassment, the photo gallery slideshow allegedly had 11 million viewers.

The video that claimed to use self-generated AI to recreate a version of the Your Power singer purportedly displayed on phone screens for four days, despite the app forbidding all overtly sexualized content.
Has AI technology gone too far with Billie Eilish AI-generated deepfakes?
Despite the fact that TikTok’s own policies state that blatantly sexualized content is prohibited, the video was nonetheless displayed on the app’s For You tab.
Apps like Lensa or Midjourney have gained a lot of traction in recent weeks, and as a result, people’s digital personas based on their own pictures are all over Instagram, Twitter, and TikTok. But there are lots of reports saying that Lensa AI is at the center of a hot debate over its NSFW content as the platform generates female ”nude” images without any consent.
However, many women claim that by stripping them of their clothes or showing them sexualized bodies, the apps are supporting misogyny.
In order to assist victims of gender-based abuse both online and offline, Hera Hussain, the creator, and CEO of Chayn said:
“The TikTok algorithm isn’t set up to discern between what kind of content is getting engagement and this is a critical issue. It should not recommend these videos to the feeds of their users. It’s not a harmless meme. It’s not a still from the singer’s own videos. It’s a hyper-sexualised AI-manipulated image.”

It is confusing how the TikTok algorithm supports NSFW content
If you use any social media platform, you should know that AI-generated photos have recently gone viral on big platforms like TikTok, which is used by millions of people of all ages. It is really confusing that such content as Billie Eilish AI-generated deepfake pornography is recommended to users by the TikTok algorithm. The content was unfortunately on the platform for days and received millions of views before it was removed.
A TikTok spokesperson said on the subject:
”This content violates our Community Guidelines, which clearly states that we do not allow content which alters or morphs an image of another individual to portray or imply sexual suggestiveness.”
– TikTok spokesperson

Reaction to AI-generated photos is booming
There is a lot of talk on social media platforms about the harms of AI applications that came to the fore again with Billie Eilish AI-generated deepfake after the popular application Lensa AI previously portrayed women as too sexual and accused of stealing the works of some artists. There are many tweets on the subject on Twitter like @_CatherineAllen‘s tweet.
Why is this AI portrait app so eager to remove my clothes?! ?
With Lensa, you upload 20 selfies and it generates dozens of unique artistic portraits of you. I was fully clothed in all the pics I uploaded (obv!) but some pictures it generated of me were nudes ? pic.twitter.com/rwOvPmrpFd

A protest against AI-generated images was recently held on the ArtStation which is a platform dedicated to digital artists. Artists started to revolt against AI art and say ”No To AI-generated images” messages in the photos they uploaded to the platform.
The correct use of AI technologies is definitely a very important element for us. AI, which has been helping us at many points in our lives for years, has unfortunately become the focus of many discussions, with it becoming viral in recent days. While most AI technologies follow the self-learning protocol, the public release of applications may perhaps be pushing AI backwards, especially on ethical issues, rather than supporting its development. If we look at the model created by ChatGPT, maybe it is not used in current topics due to OpenAI’s reservations about this subject.
