The last of the Need for Speed Unbound drops are here; as we expected, it’s the game itself!
EA games developed a great market strategy and revealed the details of their new game Need For Speed: Unbound as 9 drops in 9 weeks. Many players who pre-ordered the game started playing it; believe us, it looks amazing. Having problems with the game engine in its previous games, EA games seem to have solved these problems in Unbound, the last game of the NFS series.

All Need for Speed Unbound drops
Need for Speed Unbound, which the players have been following with drops for 9 weeks, was finally presented to the gamers. Let’s take a look at previous Need for Speed Unbound drops together.
Drop 1: REVEAL
Introducing the game with the famous rap artist A$AP Rocky, EA presented a wonderful clip about the game to the players in the first of Need for Speed Unbound drops.
While the in-game gameplay video is presented using graffiti effects in the clip, it is desired to underline the customizations available for cars in the game. When we looked at the Drop page, it was announced that the players are going to compete against A$AP Rocky’s custom Mercedes 190E.
Drop 2: THE WORLD IS YOUR CANVAS
In its second drop, EA prepared a video showing players that they can choose their own graffiti-themed driving effects.
They shared the profiles of many graffiti artists on the EA site, which they called Lane Changers Club. These magnificent graffiti artists, who contributed greatly to the production of the game are:

Drop 3: ROLL THE DICE
In the third Drop, EA games released another video saying that players should take some risks to earn rewards. As in its previous game NFS: Heat, the cops would chase the players during the races, and this would be another element that increased the enjoyment of the game. In NFS: Unbound, players will be able to bet against their opponents and receive certain rewards if they win.
Drop 4: PULL UP, RIDE OUT
In the 4th of the Need for Speed Unbound drops we see A$AP Rocky’s thoughts on a real-life version of his car we saw in the 1st drop video. EA games uses a real-life version of the Mercedes E180 in the game for marketing NFS: Unbound. EA games introduce the car once more by saying:
”Expressive, bold and inspired by A$AP Rocky, this Mercedes 190E is certainly one of the fiercest‑looking four‑door saloons ever made. Now’s your chance to stunt on the competition… in style.”
The message EA games want gamers to receive is there are amazing customization options available in-game, even for the oldest cars.
Drop 5: EXPRESS YOURSELF
In the 5th drop, EA games stated that in Need for Speed Unbound, players can change the clothes of the characters they played and announced that they would include world-famous brands in the game. Brands available in-game are as follows:
- Versace
- Puma
- BALMAIN Paris
- Namilia
- Guizio
Drop 6: RUN THESE STREETS
In the 6th drop, ASAP Rocky appears again. The video about the new game mode takeover explains that players will train for races during the day and compete against their opponents at night.
Drop 7: FREEDOM IN THE FLOW
In the 7th drop, EA games introduce each of the artists one by one by explaining the songs that will be included in the game.
