There’s a new trend! TikTok is full of videos using the explosion filter! Let’s find out how to use it. On Instagram and TikTok, you can add a realistic explosion effect to their films using the Explosion Filter visual effect. Late in 2022, the designer of the explosion filter was motivated to play funny pranks on friends and family by pretending to plug in a few devices and then claiming that one of them burst.

People may use a range of editing tools on TikTok to add interesting effects to their videos, and these tools are typically the basis of current trends. But this time, the explosion filter was actually created by an Instagram user called @mefekaradeniz. Then in early November 2022, TikTokers began using the filter on their own videos.

Many comments on these videos ask where to find this explosion filter on TikTok. The uploader stated that the filter is now unavailable on TikTok and is instead available in the Instagram Effects Gallery. He saved the video directly to the camera roll after using the Instagram Story Camera to record it before uploading it to his TikTok profile.

How to use explosion filter on TikTok?

You must have the Instagram app in order to utilize the explosion filter on TikTok. After updating to the most recent version, open Instagram. Then swipe from left to right on the smartphone screen to access the story camera option.

Now navigate to the bottom of the filters by simply swiping from left to right. A magnifying glass symbol will appear at the conclusion. It may be tapped to access the effects gallery page. Tap the search bar, type “Explosion,” and then choose the third one made by the user @mefekaradeniz.
