The Google Event Fall 2022 has just shown a slew of new Google gadgets, with a strong emphasis on intelligence and being useful to consumers. The new Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, and Pixel Watch (the first-ever Google smartwatch) are the headliners, but we also learned more about the Google Pixel Tablet. Google is focused on slimmer aesthetics for Pixel phones, as well as improved camera quality and video functionality. Personally, I’m looking forward to the Pixel 7 Pro’s speedier new Night mode, Photo Unblur function, macro mode, and Super Res Zoom.
Meanwhile, the Pixel Watch claims to have the finest heart rate monitoring in a smartwatch, as well as Fitbit and Google features combined on your wrist. Pixel 7 Pro: Google’s new flagship phone at $899 is guaranteed to wow. The Pixel 7 Pro receives a Tensor chipset, a 6.7-inch OLED display, and several camera improvements. These include a strong 5x telephoto lens and a new close-up macro focus option. The Pixel 7 Pro also has Cinematic Blur for video, which uses Tensor’s capability to provide a beautiful blur effect and a shallow depth of focus to your films. In images and videos, the Pixel 7 Pro can also lock on to your subject when zoomed in.
Tensor also drives the new Photo Unblur, which can unblur your photographs in the same way as Magic Eraser does. Night Sight has also been improved and is now twice as quick as before, resulting in more reliable low-light images. Finally, the Pixel 7 Pro comes with Face Unlock. It works in unison with the fingerprint sensor to give authentication to unlock your phone by recognizing your face using machine learning.
Pixel 7: Don’t dismiss the Pixel 7 at $599. While it misses the bigger and higher-resolution screen, 5x telephoto camera, and 12GB of RAM of the Pixel 7 Pro, the Pixel 7 with its 6.3-inch 90Hz OLED display should still be an outstanding deal. The Tensor G2 processor provides flagship-level performance together with a swath of AI and machine learning smarts. You receive all of the same software benefits as the Pixel 7 Pro.
Google Pixel Watch: Google’s first smartwatch is now available for purchase. The Pixel Watch is marketed as the ideal Pixel phone accessory, delivering the greatest Google services to the Wear OS experience. Consider Gmail, Google Maps, Google Wallet, YouTube Music, and other services. But that’s just half the picture – Fitbit is solely responsible for fitness tracking. The circular Pixel Watch is available in three colors and one size, with prices ranging from $349 for the GPS-only model to $399 for the variant with cellular capability.
Google Pixel Tablet: The new Google Pixel tablet has a soft-touch design that is easy to handle, as well as Android 12L, which is meant to provide a better tablet experience. This means that there will be more split-screen applications and apps that take advantage of a bigger display. Because it is driven by a Tensor chip, you will be able to use many of the same picture and video functions as the Pixel 7.
